Feekar said to Lasper, “Well, I’m willing to have you try it.” Lasper raised the biveefarcator and said, “Heh. Thanks. Veeflings! I command you! Come!” A swarm of glowing floating lights descended around him and floated around his person. Lasper said, “basically, the Veefa sends these little envoys, and we ask a few questions, then the Veefa transmits the information we request.” Feekar said, “Huh. Is that how veefas work?” Lasper said, “Well, that’s how a biveefarcator works. The cops have a direct link. this is theoretically the workarou-” Lasper was interrupted by a large “fratz” noice as he was shocked by his device. Lasper became an oragne glowing twice-as-tall version of himself and said, “We are the Veefa. What minuscule wretch signed their death-warrant by disturbing our restful evening?” Now shorter than Lasper, Feekar said, “That’d be the guy whose body you’re controlling. I’m just an innocent bystander.”

Back inside the Veefa, Feekar, the Bollyck, said to Lasper, “Any other brilliant ideas?” Lasper said, “I have one more idea, but I’m not sure how brilliant it is.” Lasper pulled out a wrench-like stick with two glowy bits one at each end and said, “A biveefarcator.” Feekar pointed at it and said, “A device that let’s you access all of a Veefa’s memories?” Lasper saidd, “Yes.” Feekar said, “I have two questions. Why didn’t you pull that out to begin with? And how could you afford one of those, they’re insanely expensive.” Lasper said, “The answer to both of those questions is the same thing: it’s a probably dangerous unpredictable knockoff I bought for a pittance.”
