so, i know it's a little late, but happy birthday to mikoy. also, i'd like to welcome wanderingpixie to LJ. it's been an interesting day. i saw Vanilla Sky tonight. weird movie, but not bad. definitely a mindfuck. we followed it up by watching the Maxx. also a great and mindblowing movie.
my computer's reinstall has been coming along nicely. still trying to find all the installers for stuff, but bit by bit i'm getting things back. soon it will be a fully functional machine and i can set up accounts on it for my housemates.

i haven't been doing much philosophizing or psychoanalysis recently, perhaps tomorrow i'll post some of my older poetry.

yeah, i'm kind of interested in seeing it. not sure i can deal with that movie with subtitles though. i was amused that penelope cruz also starred in the original as sophia. i'd swear i recognize the guy who plays techsupport, but i can't figure out how he was credited and therefore can't find him on imdb.

Tech Support (Edmund Ventura) is played by a guy named Noah Taylor. (It's amazing what you can find out when you check the movie site instead of IMDB ^_^ ) I really don't recognize him, but he was in "Absolutely Famous" and "Shine." HTH.
